Alma Maters Nourish More than Mind

Alma maters nourish more than mind:
Light within illuminates the whole,
Making one of multitudes combined,
Allowing each the passion of its soul.
Maybe we'll forget much that we've learned
As we narrow to a single road.
The powers we were given we have earned,
Ever the way blessings are bestowed,
Riches not retained until returned.

Teachers Teach What They Will Never Know

Teachers teach what they will never know,
However thoroughly they may prepare.
After all the books and lesson plans,
No test can touch the things that make us care.
Knowledge is not the choicest seed they sow.
Your devotion is a pair of hands
Offering a sculpture fierce and rare,
Unveiling a place where I must go.

The day has finally arrived,
It’s our graduation time,
From now till then, we’ll look back on this diploma,
Knowing that we reached this far, knowing that we can do anything if we just put our minds to it.
So let’s enjoy this very moment,
Dreaming things that we never dreamed before,
Dreaming that we will fly away with the birds to reach our goal in life someday.
So just remember this diploma lying in each of our hands show our parents how much we accomplished a great deal.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
~Robert Frost

What is there for us now,Graduations come and past
We're all still taking pictures, trying to make the feelings last
The halls are filled with teenage drama queens tears streaming down their face,at the cold realization that this might be their last embrace

we're all trying not to laugh, but we know the giggles hide our tears
hugging everyone we see, this has been a great three years
we can't begin to count the memories,or the people that we'll miss
but just standing here together, leaves us all in silent bliss

we know it's mostly teenage puppy love, but it's gonna last forever;)
because we're never gonna let this fade, all we'll ever need is each other
